Artist Statement:

Out of the reeds and lily pads came Momma Duck, gliding toward me as I painted at the edge of her world. Her calm gaze reminded me that I was only a guest here, welcomed yet watched in her shimmering domain. The water caught the light like brushstrokes of motion—ripples of gold, rose, and silver blending life and reflection. Framed in a gold Plein Air frame, this piece celebrates the quiet conversation between artist and nature—the stillness before trust, the poetry of shared space.  -KFox
