Water Lilies at Musee L'Orangerie

Before I ever picked up a paintbrush I visited the L’Orangerie in Paris, the museum built to house Monet’s water lilies.  Maybe that’s why I started painting - I fell in love with the experience. One enters this huge rotunda surrounded by water and water lilies and cascading willow trees on Monet’s huge canvases. It’s an immersion experience and it is really quite amazing.
